Healthcare hospitals.
Modern Healthcare sponsors this biennial recognition program. According
to Modern Healthcare, the name of the program reflects the skills needed
to improve the healthcare delivery system in the post-healthcare reform
era. This year’s nomination process for the top minority executives
focused greater attention on ability to effect change and diversity in
the healthcare industry, leadership qualities, professional achievement,
and innovation in the industry. Reader nominations are used to create
the final selection by Modern Healthcare. The selection process is extremely
competitive as there are a large number of nominations for this award,
and Dr. Reddy’s accomplishments in the industry were unparalleled.
