anamikaThis year’s scholarship awards recipients were congratulated by Dr. Reddy at an elegant banquet thrown in their honor. Dr. Reddy encouraged them to follow their dreams and reach for the stars. The dinner included live music performed by Tom Gilmore on the harp and a number of guest speakers. Among those presenting, were Val Christensen, Victor Valley College Foundation Board and Past President, Dr. Margaret Peterson, CEO of Desert Valley Hospital, James Cox, Mayor of Victorville, and more. Goodwill Regional Director, Angela Gardner, was also in attendance to thank Dr. Reddy for his generous donation of $10,000.
The Dr. Prem Reddy Family Foundation Scholarship Program was created to reward students who have achieved academic excellence in addition to involvement in school and community services. The program is open to all High Desert residents who are enrolled in an accredited program leading to a Health Care or medical related field and gives over $100,000 in scholarships annually.
